ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM, BIJAPUR (**)
The museum locates in the premises of Gol Gumbaz features antiquities from the period between 1480 and 1680 A.D. These antiquities include porcelain, coins, miniature paintings, manuscripts and carpets. There are also stone sculptures and inscriptions in Kannada, Devanagari, Arabic and Persian exhibited in the museum. Huge canons are exhibited in front of the museum.
ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUMS OF BADAMI AND AIHOLE
Stone sculpture, panels and architectural fragments from the Chalukya period are prominent exhibits. Tel: 20157 (Badami).
ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM, HALEBID
The ASI maintains a sculpture gallery within a Hoysaleswara Temple. The Museum has a collection of stone sculptures, Tel: 73227.
